Tutorial - Doll Faces by blk-kitti Tutorial - Doll Faces by blk-kitti
Someone asked for this, even though she's literally my second ever custom done using this technique and I'm pretty weak with it as yet. :,D;;;; BUT HEY, I took pictures as I worked this time, so here we go!

TUTORIAL for this 1/6 scale doll customization technique I just heard about!

What is it with the CAM catgirls? All of the ones I've seen so far have cock-eyed faces starting out.

I found a really good way to remove the face up/face paint is to use Windsor & Newton Brush Cleaner & Restorer and a cotton ball. It doesn't smell as bad and the paint comes off more smoothly. A 4oz bottle is $7.99 at Hobby Lobby (if there's one where you are) but it's worth it.

are the pastels chalk or oil?

soft pastel is chalk-like. when used, they leave a lot of powder on your work surface. oil pastel leave eraser-like debris.

I like how you made her less cock-eyed. :D

XD Why thank you! A bunch of these poor Create-A-Monster girls suffer from the same unfortunate affliction, so I knew going in that I wanted to cure their eyes.
