The actual title for this picture was supposed to be 'Midnight Conversations,' but I could not for the LIFE of me fit it into the eensy Deviation Title space provided.

Anyway, this is L + Mello as commissioned by :iconjenwryn:. I LOVE L + MELLO and it was an incredibly awesome excuse to draw this picture! More finished commission work will be coming soon, actually! I messed-up on one of the larger pieces and have to outright redo it [driving, terrible shame;], but here we have THIS piece done-!

You can read the fanfic that this image is based off of when Jenwryn uploads it soon to her Personal Fanfiction Comm! ♥

She originally commissioned me for tight inkwork only, which has a discount in my commissions section if you're commissioning Death Note pairings... but when I failed to create the right atmosphere with inks alone, I ended-up doing some simple CG finishing work at the end there.

Have I?? XD That's a wonderful thing to hear, I'm so pleased that a piece I made could have done that for you-!! ♥ /;--; It's an underappreciated but lovely pairing. I find that many people are squicked by the age difference, but I don't mind that one bit - and if they ARE squicked, well, I've been in an RP with a very unique L/Mello situation before that was just lovely /;-; ♥
